Wellbeing in the 'Garden of England’: Ritual and Raw Chocolate

A gentle plant medicine journey using raw cacao. No experience needed. Come celebrate blossom season in a beautiful garden in Cobham, Kent.

Cacao is a powerful plant medicine, readily available (and legal!) in the West. The warm nature of the cacao plant - and it’s distinct flavour- makes it perfect for ritual use. Cacao has been used in healing for generations in South America. In this ceremony we begin situating ourselves in the landscape. You will be led through simple ritual and song (easy to join in, and optional!) whilst getting a sense of the beautiful location. Once you have met the trees, we meet each other and share a bit of why we are here. Then we head inside, set an intention, and lie down in comfort for a guided journey. This is a chance to rest, connect to cacao, and spend time communing with your own inner wisdom. It is good to approach these events with an open attitude free from expectations. We run our events around the new moon , using the inward lunar energy and preparing for a new month ahead. Cacao is a natural stimulant of serotonin, the body’s ‘happy’ biochemical that helps us balance our moods and open our hearts (literally - it naturally widens the blood vessels).

Ticket information: £40 in person, £25 online
