Join us on a Riverside Wildflower Walk around Mill and Marsh Meadows nature conservation area on the Henley stretch of the River Thames led by Sally Rankin, Greener Henley’s wild flower expert. Greener Henley Wildlife group under Sally's guidance have managed this conservation area under license from the Henley Town Council since 1995. Sally will identify the wide variety of flora in this peaceful location which has two small ponds and the Coldbath Stream that feeds into the River Thames. Meet at the carpark, Mill Lane, Henley on Thames

Directions: We shall assemble in the public car park at the end of Mill Lane, the one nearest to Marsh Lock. Stout footwear is advisable as there may be some rough ground and muddy if wet. Young children should be supervised at all times. Limited disabled access. Book a place via https://riversidewildflowerwalk.eventbrite.co.uk

Nearest transport link(s): Reading Bus 800 stops just after the Tesco Roundabout, cross at pedestrian crossing, take the first right down Mill Lane to the far end. The car park is on the left. Train to Henley from Twyford. Come out of the Station access road turn right, walk straight ahead to the River, turn right and walk along the tow path. After crossing the small wooden pedestrian bridge turn right into Mill Lane, the car park is about 50 yards on the right.
