Enjoy a slice or two of freshly made FREE woodfired pizza as you wander round Franchi Seeds of Italy 1783.

Franchi are the oldest family run seed brand on the planet, founded in 1783 and still in the same family for 7 generations. We specialise in endangered, heritage, ethical and regional varieties with provenance and lost flavours.

Seeds of Italy celebrates seasonal veg and with varieties to sow from June to Oct for winter and spring 2024 harvest, as well as regional varieties from Padron peppers from Galicia, the Kelvedon pea from Essex and the Tropea onion from Calabria to name a few – about 500 varieties in total.

Our authentic Italian handmade pizze will take you on that journey from seed to plate with Neapolitan Friarielli broccoli, San Marzano tomatoes from the slopes of Vesuvius, red onions originated in Italy, vegetarian rennet mozzarella and vegan nduja yes, but also Sicilian sausage and other amazing regional varieties in season at the time of the event. Our pizza dough is made from Italian 00 flour and olive oil, salt, yeast and water.

While you're here, take a tour around the regional ingredients from all over Italy from smoked ricotta from Calabria and fresh Nduja sausage from Sardegna, to fruit mustard from Cremona and Sicilian cannoli as well as Passata machines and Bormioli passata bottles to make your own at home.
