From Seattle: A Murder Mystery at the Chelsea Flower Show
There’s murder afoot at the Chelsea Flower Show in Marty Wingate’s mystery The Bluebonnet Betrayal. On May 21-22, go to Marty’s website to listen to a sample of the audio book and envision yourself on the Royal Hospital Grounds as Chelsea comes to life!
The story: Pru Parke, American gardener in England, finds her worlds colliding as the Austin Rock Garden Society (ARGS) talks her into helping create their garden at the Chelsea Flower Show. The leader of ARGS, Twlya Woodford, has yet to arrive, and it’s left to Pru to navigate the build-up—from sports field to garden perfection in the blink of an eye. Then, when Twyla does arrive, she’s found murdered on the garden site. In a race to find Twyla’s murderer and build a show garden full of bluebonnets—the iconic flower of Texas—Pru investigates while her husband, Detective Inspector Christopher Pearse, goes undercover as a garden lackey.
