Yoga for Garden Lovers: Stretch & Strengthen, Ease & Breath

3.00 - 4.00 p.m.
  • Online
  • ,
  • Workshop

A free live yoga class with Sally Ramsden of The Yoga for Life Project designed to nourish the parts of the body most used for gardening and physical work.

Suitable not only for gardeners but just about everyone, including walkers, nature lovers and people doing physical work involving lifting, carrying, bending and/or repeated movements Plus anyone who wants to give online yoga a go in a supportive setting. All welcome, including those who prefer chair yoga.

During this 1 hour session we will move through a slow flow of yoga shapes designed to lengthen the spine, oil the joints and ease out the muscles, building resilience and relaxing tension.

As we grow our yoga together step by step, breath by breath, the body, mind and nervous system will be nourished and calmed. Come and dip your toe in and experience the benefits for yourself.

Sally is a qualified yoga teacher, mindfulness trainer and keen community gardener. She trained with Yoga Campus and specialises in outdoor yoga, community yoga workplace and therapeutic yoga for stress and anxiety.

In addition to public classes, The Yoga for Life Project provides specialist yoga for people with chronic/life threatening health conditions and for communities who don’t usually access yoga.

Sally also teaches with Natural Connection, Yoga Place, The London Buddhist Centre and Breathing Space.
