Wine tasting and flower crown workshop with Loire Valley Wines

Wine and flower fans, get yourselves ready for the most beautiful wine tasting (or the most sociable floristry workshop) in town! On Thursday 26th May, one of the City of London’s oldest marketplaces, Leadenhall Market, will be hosting a one-of-a-kind hybrid floral workshop and wine tasting event.

Hosted by Cheese at Leadenhall and Windsor Flowers, on behalf of Loire Valley Wines and as part of the Chelsea Fringe Festival, participants will discover four very special Loire wines while creating their very own floral headpiece from flowers selected to represent the spirit of the wild Loire Valley in France.

Starting as the site of a manor, Leadenhall Market has survived changes in use, rebuilding, and even the Great Fire to become a popular destination for city residents, visitors and workers.  Situated in the centre of the City of London’s financial district, the current Grade II listed Market building, designed by Horace Jones, dates back to 1881.
