Honey Harvesting on the Roof

Yuruttona Gardeners, a weekend street gardening club, met a local beekeeper who has set his beehives on the roof top of the building adjacent to our gardening site. We have been enjoying seeing honeybees keeping busy from the first flower of the spring up to harvest time. We are invited to observe the harvesting and possibly tasting the honey which is likely to taste extra sweet to us!
