This year the Fringe (May 16-24) is — of course — going virtual.
Once again, in this our 9th year as a festival, we are inviting community gardeners, artists, activists and anyone with an interest in gardens, plants and outdoor space to get involved and to do something fun and positive.
There’s always been an online category in the Fringe — it’s just that this year everything will be in it. We are hoping creative gardeners will be able to come up with quirky ideas in the true Fringe spirit, whether that’s a workshop conducted via Zoom, an online art exhibition, or a garden-based virtual community event.
In line with these straitened times, registration is at a flat £10, with a £1 pay-what-you-can rate for those really feeling the pinch at the moment. The Fringe is volunteer-run and not-for-profit, and we don’t want anyone to feel they can’t participate for financial reasons.
So please do go and check out our (new!) website or just email us direct with your idea at: info@chelseafringe.com
