Garden Yoga: Blossom like a Flower; Be Strong like a tree
A free live yoga class on zoom with The Yoga for Life Project (see links at the bottom of the page) Given by therapeutic Yoga Teacher Claire Whalley from her back garden, this highly accessible, uplifting and nourishing class will weave in yoga poses, breath work and meditation that specifically link us to nature. A chance to stretch stiff bodies, to release physical tension, to let go of anything from lock down, to enable us to discover our strength and our softness - just like the strong roots and soft branches of a tree - to carry us with positivity and vitality into the summer months. Inspired by yoga philosophy and western psychology, Claire will allow you to explore how you're feeling on this balmy summer's evening and what you need to harness to allow you to flourish like a summer rose! And into this mix there will be some fun and humour some readings and poetry.
Open to all. Suitable for all abilities and those new to yoga. Possible to do from a chair or mat. If you can find some outdoor space with wifi – perfect – if not, allow us to bring you some nature into the indoors.
